Snow Squad FAQs

How many trips are you guys doing?

We're doing two Snow Squad trips in 2024. The first trip starts on March 16th, 2024 and ends on March 23rd, 2024. The second trip starts on March 23, 2024 and ends on March 30th, 2024. For more information, visit the trip booking page which can be found here.

What’s included in the trip?

The price of the trip covers things like your accommodation for the week, your lift pass for the full Grandvalira ski area, and access to all the events during the trip that we will be running. For more specifics on the trip itinerary, check out our Snow Squad info pack.

What’s not included in the trip?

Some things you need to source yourself include; flights to and from the trip (we don’t include these in the price because we have members all over the world and flight prices vary all over), food and drink (we understand that everyone has different wants and needs when it comes to food, so we leave this flexible for you) and comprehensive travel insurance (please make sure the insurance you get covers you for the desired activity).

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes! We encourage all of our guests to get comprehensive coverage and make sure that it is specific to the activity that you’re partaking in.

Do I get a refund?

Can I secure a spot early?

We aren’t able to allow anyone to book onto our trips early. We leave everything completely fair for everyone!

Are all the activities mandatory?

The events that we build into our itinerary are included in the price of your ticket, but they are all completely optional whether you want to join or not. If you need a break during the trip, that’s totally fine, just let us know!

Can I book more than one ticket?

At the moment, our booking page only allows for you to book one ticket at a time. This is because our community is built to help connect strangers all over the world!

Can I change my card details?

Absolutely, just contact us at [email protected] and we can setup a quick call to change your details over the phone.

Are flights included?

We don’t include flights in our trips because we have people from all over the world join our trips. Flight prices vary massively from one place to the next, so we wouldn’t be able to include the cost of flights for everyone.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept currencies from over 135 countries and you can pay the price of the trip in your local currency (whatever the conversion rate may be). You simply put in your payment info and our system will do the converting for you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

What time do tickets go live?

Tickets are fully sold out for Snow Squad 2024. We will be back for more in 2025!

Is it okay to come alone?

Absolutely! If anything it’s encouraged! Our platform is all about connecting people from all over the world to make new friendships and make memorable experiences together.

How does booking work?

At x time we will send the booking link into the INFO group chat for the trip. The tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis - so make sure that you are ready and waiting for the link to appear in the chat.

What is the age group?

Our minimum age requirement is 18 to be a member of our community. But the average age of people that book onto our trips is generally 24-29.

Does it matter what my nationality is?

Not at all! We welcome people from all walks of life regardless of where they come from.

Can you help me with my visa application?

Absolutely, if you secure a spot on one of our trips, you can use the confirmation email and we can send you a copy of the receipt to assist you with your application.

How do I join the waitlist?

The waitlist will be linked both in the INFO group chat and on the booking page after all the tickets have sold out.

Why was I charged twice?

This can happen sometimes in the hustle and bustle of booking! But don’t worry, usually one of these payments will bounce back in a day or two. If it doesn’t, please let us know and we can look to issue a refund for you.

How old do I need to be?

Our minimum age requirement is 18 years old.

How do I cancel?

Can I use my IKON pass?

This year, our package isn’t customizable, so we wouldn’t be able to remove the price of the lift pass. In future this is something we will look to implement.

What is day 0?

Day 0 is an extra, completely optional day to the trip. We will be meeting up the day before the trip starts in Barcelona for a meetup and to explore the city. If you want to attend, you will need to sort your own way into the city and accommodation for the night.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Arrivals will vary depending on the transfer you book (you can add these to your booking after you’ve secured a spot). Same goes for your departure time! Check in is generally around 5pm on arrival day and check out is normally throughout the morning on departure day.

What are the rooms like?

We will be in shared apartments with a mixture of beds on option (generally bunks)

Can I switch dates?

If there is space on the other trip, we are more than happy to help you switch dates. Please note that you may have to pay a little extra depending on which trip you are moving to - because both trips are slightly different prices. Email us at [email protected]

What accommodation are we staying in?

This year, everyone will be staying in Frontera Blanca in Pas de la Casa.

Can I stay with my friend?

We will be sending out a personality questionnaire ahead of the trip to help us with room allocations. On this form, you can also request to stay with someone specific.
